Art's Sandwich Shop: Where cheesesteaks are king

June 15, 2016

ORLANDO, FL - It's easy to miss Art's Sandwich Shop on Orange Blossom Trail.

In fact, even owner Mike Adkins said most people who drive by think the restaurant is an art supply store.  The most artistic thing about the restaurant is the way Adkins makes sandwiches.

The family-owned business has been making no-nonsense sandwiches for more than 46 years. This is a place where working men and women stop in on their lunch breaks and walk about full and happy.

Art's specialty is cheesesteaks, which are made with flank sirloin and flavored with a secret seasoning. The sandwiches are steamed and you can add toppings such as banana peppers, mushrooms, onions or whatever.

Adkins will make it how you want it, and it will be a work of art.
